The Basics
I'm a 22 year old Illustration-turned-English major in the Boston area. I am currently finishing up my last year of college and catching up on my English credits. I spend most of my time either reading, creating, or hanging out with friends and family. By nature I am a bit lazy, but once I have that spark of inspiration I will lose myself in it.
The Blog
Art is incredibly important to me, be it checking out local exhibitions or taking advantage of those days when I can't do a thing but make something. I would love to be one of those artists that constantly has those creative juices flowing, but alas. Not the case here. Two years into my Illustration major I learned that I cannot make myself paint/draw/etc if I am not in the mood. Switching my major saved my passion for art, but these days I feel like I'm losing my skills because I'm a little scared to get back into it.
So as much as I wish I could say this blog was made for y'all to read, it isn't. This blog was made purely for my own selfish reasons. My goal is to have a motivating factor on those "I know I should do something artsy, but it's not going to happen" days. With any luck I will be all excited to share ideas and artistic adventures with an audience. I have so many ideas and projects floating around upstairs, and I hope that blogging with help make them a reality. Helping others find inspiration and ideas would be quite the bonus.
Hold me accountable. Please. And in return I will showcase and explain as many fun projects as possible.
