My professors have described my style any number of ways- delicate, realistic, detail oriented, and precise have been some of the nicer adjectives. One kind professor once told me my work was very Botticellian. My criticisms have usually been that my work is stiff, that I have trouble with looser styles. I overwork paintings and drawings, and sometimes have trouble stepping back and seeing the whole picture. I am confident that my technical skills are solid. But I need to work on my concepts and bad habits.
